If your robot isn't moving as expected:
Is your robot not responding?
No sound coming from the robot?
Is the robot hearing itself?
Can't the robot hear you?
Follow these steps:
Power and network — confirm the robot is powered on and connected to a network with internet access. More info.
Check the chat is running — open System and verify all nodes are running (green status).
Check speech recognition — go to System > Nodes > Speech Recognition. Check for error messages or connection issues.
Check audio input — go to System > Audio. Adjust volumes, select the correct input, or unmute if needed. Look for the blue VU meter — usually "Front Mic" is the default input.
Test text-to-speech — use the TTS test under System > Audio to confirm the robot can speak.
If problems persist after these steps, contact us.
For installations where the robot needs an external microphone or speaker (e.g. noisy locations, barriers between robot and audience):
Use the Report a Problem feature in Tritium to send diagnostic information directly to our engineering team.
